In late 2007 a couple of rugby fanatics with also a keen interest in online marketing got together to create buyrugbyshirts.com. The idea originally came about when trying to purchase a super 12 rugby shirt. After purchasing from a New Zealand website after a 30 minutes of searching only to discover the same shirt for half the price in another shop the following day. The goal was then established to list all the top online retailers along with every national and major league team in the world. Thus providing a quick price comparison site for every rugby fan while also providing team facts and touching on team history.

The goal is to have all national teams and major league teams added by the end of 2008. Other leagues and teams will then be selected based on your feedback.
