Brief History: The Reds originally represent the Queensland rugby union in the Super 10 competition. In 1996 rugby changed forever with the first professional competition, the Queensland Reds where one of the original teams in the competition along with the two other Australian teams. The Reds moved to the stadium from Ballymore in 2006.
